Share Net International: Co – Creation Conference 2019


Share-Net International, the Knowledge Platform on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, will host its first annual Co-Creation Conference, “Engaging in Knowledge Translation Together from 8-10th October 2019 at the Impact Hub in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This innovative, dynamic event will be a working conference where participants will develop concrete and evidence informed knowledge products that will be used for influencing policy and practice at country level.

The conference has two tracks: 1) Breaking the silence around Infertility and 2) Access to quality SRHR services for people affected by conflict, fragility and crisis.

For each thematic track, a Community of Practice has been established consisting of Share-Net International members and partners. Before the conference narrative reviews will be written and deliberative dialogues will be held with key informants to inform the kind of products that will be developed during the conference.
All participants of the conference, including researchers, practitioners and policy makers will engage in dialogues and work together for the creation of these knowledge products.


The Share-Net International Co-Creation Conference’s methodology is new in its kind and a range of methodologies will be used. SNI will invite different kind of specialists and experts who will support the teams. Methods include deliberative dialogues, message and product development techniques, writeshops, framing messages and language use and several others. During the conference a small grants call will be launched that will lead to the use of the products at country level.
