KIT and partners are hosting a series of webinars on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Fragile Environments. These webinars are a spin off of the symposium titled “Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Fragile Environments, turning challenges into opportunities” that KIT hosted in December 2015 in collaboration with Cordaid, the International Medical Corps, HealthNetTPO, Share-Net International, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. The webinars series is organised by the same partners as the symposium and in addition with Save the Children and ReBuild.
Aim of the webinars:
During the symposium several aspects of sexual and reproductive health in fragile environments were discussed. The aim of the symposium was to learn from, and share evidence-based information of existing programmes and research conducted on sexual and reproductive health in fragile environments.
The aim of this series of webinars is to:
- To give follow-up and go more in-depth into the various topics discussed during the symposium and to share lessons and research more widely for people that could not attend the conference itself.
- To keep the momentum to learn and strengthen policies, research and practices that support further development on SRHR in fragile environments
- To create more interaction between international development and humanitarian fields of expertise that address SRHR in fragile environments
- To create a stronger community consisting of practitioners, researchers, policy makers, donors and students in effectively addressing SRHR in fragile environments.
Five webinars will be given in 2016, beginning 2017. See below the list of all upcoming webinars.
