This report presents the findings of a rapid assessment conducted to identify reproductive health, adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH), and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) needs. The assessment was carried out across eight provinces of Burundi to inform targeted interventions and support planning.

Though Burundi recently engaged in implementing the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), data on the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) of persons with disabilities (PWD) are not available. In 2014, the National Program for the Fight Against AIDS (PNS), organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), and more recently, the National Program for Reproductive Health (PNSR), acknowledged that PWDs, an important minority, cannot be ignored if Burundi wants to achieve its national strategic plan objectives.
