L’enquête sur la disponibilité et l’état des stocks de contraceptifs et de médicaments pour la santé maternelle au Burundi est réalisée selon une périodicité biannuelle. Elle fait partie d’un programme international standardisé et s’inscrit dans le dispositif de suivi-évaluation du Programme phare d’approvisionnement de l’UNFPA, (Anciennement connu sous le nom de Programme Mondial de Sécurisation des Produits de Santé Reproductive (GPRHCS)). Cette enquête est réalisée dans plus de quarante pays dont le Burundi.

Menstrual hygiene management has long been neglected by water, hygiene and sanitation stakeholders. This has affected the entire population in terms of access to information, reproduction, practices related to beliefs or taboos and perceptions of young girls in menstruation. This baseline will make it possible to compare the indicators reported at the different stages of the project (annual evaluation, mid-term review and completion review) with these baseline indicators. The measurement of these quantitative and qualitative indicators will make it possible to assess the project’s results as well as its effects and impacts.
