Dear Sir or Madam,
We have published a new NICHE call for subsidy tenders for a project in Burundi, NICHE-BDI-240, titled “Appui à la réforme du programme de médecine”.
You can download the tender documents on https://www.epnuffic.nl/en/capacity-building/calls/call-for-subsidy-tenders-niche-bdi-240.
The closing date for bids is 10 November 2016 at 10 am CET.
Please note this is a re-publication of a NICHE call we published in April 2015 and of which we withdrew the publication in May 2015 due to the security situation. Although the security situation at this moment is still formally unchanged, EP-Nuffic in coordination with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and with the requesting organisations decided to publish it again. Especially in this situation, NICHE support is considered crucial to assist Burundi and its organisations.
Bidders are advised to take into account the security situation and adjust their proposed strategy accordingly. Please note that the implementing parties are always responsible to deal with security issues within NICHE projects. EP-Nuffic is not liable for any claims caused by security issues. Please consult the website of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the latest information on security issues. In case the security situation deteriorates further, EP-Nuffic may again decide to put the project on hold and/or withdraw the grant.
The call is republished almost unchanged. The only substantial modification on the content compared with the version of last year refers to the work done by the three faculties under supervision of the ‘Commission nationale de l’Enseignement Supérieur’ to harmonise the six year curriculum of the medicine Bachelor diploma.
